World Class Facilities
Marlborough College offers a fast paced, contemporary, challenging and enriching education for pupils with aspiration in an incomparable setting on the edge of a beautiful market town. It offers outstanding facilities and exciting opportunities academically, in sport and in the arts. Players will be able to utilise the College’s two first class, floodlit 3G pitches, one of the best schools’ football pitches available and also access the College’s indoor, 8-lane, 25m swimming pool.
Bespoke Development Plans
Coaches provide personalised guidance to each player, analysing their strengths and weaknesses and helping them improve in all areas. All players also work on their strength and physical fitness and take part in various fitness sessions during their time in the program. All participants receive a final assessment report that outlines their strengths and weaknesses and provides guidance on how they can continue to improve.

Using the English Schools’ FA’s comprehensive safeguarding structures and framework, the 2025 Coaching Camps will be delivered with the highest level of safety and welfare for children in mind. Fully staffed with the highly qualified, skilled and experienced coaches, physios and Safeguarding Officers, all players will benefit from a wealth of knowledge and experience, delivered in a positive and nurturing manner.

FAQs
Who will coach the players?
The Coaching Camps will be delivered under the auspices of the English Schools’ FA’s international management teams. Lead Coaches will be required to have UEFA B coaching licences (outfield and goalkeeping), Youth Modules 1, 2 and 3, FA safeguarding credentials including DBS clearance and teaching, and experience of coaching in a high level environment.
How old must players be?
For the U13 group, players must be born between 1st Sept 2012 and 31st Aug 2014
For the U15 group, players must be born between 1st Sept 2010 and 31st Aug 2012
Where will the players stay?
Players will stay on-site at Marlborough College, Wiltshire, where they will be accommodated in the College’s well-appointed boarding houses in the beautiful surroundings of the campus, all within walking distance of the College’s excellent sporting facilities. Meals will be cooked and served by the in-house catering team in the College dining room. Players during their stay will be overseen by onsite ESFA Enterprises Coaches and Staff.
Will the camps be beneficial for goalkeepers?
Absolutely. The camps will have a specialised UEFA B or above goalkeeper coach who will focus solely on the development of all goalkeepers in attendance. Goalkeepers will receive bespoke sessions and development plans.
Will the age groups be kept separate?
Girls will be trained in their two year age bands but are likely to reside in the same boarding house. Players will be accommodated in dormitories/shared rooms with other girls in their two year age band. There will be age-appropriate off-pitch activities for the girls, some of which may be delivered within age groups and some across both groups.
How much does the camp cost?
The camps are £1,200 per player, which includes full board accommodation, supervised access to sports facilities such as the gym and the swimming pool, a programme of educational enrichment in the evenings, access to full time resident medical staff and safeguarding personnel, a welcome pack and an item of branded attire as a memento, to complement the high quality coaching on offer. Bank payments (not credit card payments) should be paid within 30 days of registration and in any event, no later than 5th January 2026. Payment can be made in instalments with the first payment of £300 due no later than 5th January 2026, with further payments of £300 required on the 1st Feb, 1st March and 1st April. Please note however that your player’s place is not secured until the full payment of £1200 is made: early registration is recommended as places are limited.
What safeguarding measures are in place?
Participants in the camps will benefit from the full range of safeguarding measures expected in schools’ football, and all ESFA Enterprises controls will be in accordance with requirements of the National Governing Body for Schools’ Football, The English Schools’ Football Association, whose policy which can be found here:
There will be a resident Safeguarding Officer on site for the duration of the camps and a second member of staff at each camp is also a qualified Safeguarding Officer. Qualified physiotherapist/sports therapists will also be resident at the camp.
Will there be photos or videos of players during the camp
An official photographer and videographer will be on site for at least one day of the coaching camp. Remote filming cameras may also be in use throughout the camp for analysis purposes. On confirmation of registration, you will be provided with parents consent pack which will include these details.
What type of player would benefit from this experience?
These coaching camps are designed for advanced/elite players who already possess extensive experience, strong technical skills and advanced game intelligence.
